MSP Senior Sales Consultant

About the Role

Position Summary
The Senior Sales Consultant is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients to promote and sell VTC Tech’s services and solutions.
This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, responding to inquiries, and guiding prospects through the decision-making process.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is proactive, goal-oriented, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities while delivering excellent client experience.
They contribute to achieving sales targets, supporting revenue growth, and strengthening client partnerships through consistent follow-up and professional service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· 80% – Manage inbound leads: respond promptly to inbound inquiries (this includes incoming phone calls, website forms submitted, web chat, email); qualify leads, and guide prospects through the sales funnel
· 20% – Introducing new prospects through: canvassing, outbound phone calls, email outreach/campaigns, networking, trade shows/expos
· Sales activities consisting of, but not limited to: appointment setting, discovery meetings, estimates, presenting tailored solutions, quotes, and contracts
· Conduct and document all activities in HubSpot (calls, emails, tasks, notes, deals, etc.)
· Maintain all proposal documentation with accurate notes, products, pricing, and configurations
· Lead weekly Business Development Meetings to review progress and strategies.
· Perform Daily/Weekly/Monthly sales touches consistent with company goals
· Achieving internal business development goals
· Monitor innovations, and competitors’ services, products, pricing, and sales strategies
· Create community awareness and demand for VTC Tech’s services and products
· Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Knowledge of various business development techniques and strategies, background in sales and information technology
· Knowledge of how companies utilize MSPs to meet their unique business needs
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
· Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured environment.
· Demonstrated capacity to think strategically, make decisions quickly, and operate effectively under pressure
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear and professional correspondence
· Well-developed presentation and negotiation skills
· Excellent customer relationship management skills
· Mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and analyze financial data
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
· Previous experience in business development within the technology or managed services industries
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives
