Second generation CEO of Hi-Tek Data, a managed services provider founded by Alex Hartley in 1982. Our CEO, Adam Hartley is an engineer by trade who spent years as our senior most engineer before stepping into the CEO seat in 2011, and over the last 15 years have built Hi-Tek into one of the most respected MSPs in the Northeast. Serving Long Island, Metro NYC as well as we support customers throughout the United States.

That engineering background shapes how we operate. We know what good infrastructure looks like, what a real root cause analysis reads like, and where most MSPs cut corners. We don't. We serve mid market clients in professional services, healthcare, and manufacturing with managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure strategy. Because Hi-Tek began as a software development company, we combine deep technical expertise with strategic consulting, and we build custom software when clients need something the market doesn't offer. That technical depth is our edge.

In 2024, Seapine Equity acquired a majority stake. The partnership funds the next chapter: disciplined growth, deeper investment in our team and tooling, and selective acquisitions of MSPs in the eastern US that share our standards.
